The spruce comes in a new look
Needle Gin has been represented on the German market since November 2016 and has since then really shaken up the gin market. Bimmerle KG serves the growing gin market, a constantly maturing target group and the increasing interest in quality and regionality. Needle Gin combines these components in a consumer-friendly product. Needle is available in stationary and online stores at an RRP of 11.99 euros. In the Nielsen figures, Needle Gin is among the top 8 best-selling gin brands in Germany as of June 2018. Needle Gin remains true to the simple and stylish design. The elegant apothecary bottle made of green glass, in combination with the label, has become the trademark of Needle Gin. “The basic idea was to give the bottle individuality and that certain something without losing sight of the actual bottle shape,” says Nicolai Benz, CEO Bimmerle. The apothecary bottle remains, with recessed grips, stylized spruce needles and a curved label window. “The recessed grips make pouring easier and direct attention to the label. Needle is characterized by the pointed needles, which are reflected on the label and now give the bottle shoulder an extra dose of Black Forest,” Ann-Kathrin Metzner, Head of Marketing. The now slightly slimmer bottle appears more present and strong thanks to the innovations.
The restructuring to accommodate the new bottle is happening smoothly; the first pallets of the new bottles have already left the Bimmerle warehouse in Mösbach.
